Cole McArthur is an associate lawyer at Dooley Lucenti LLP practicing in corporate law, energy leasing and development, real estate transactions, and wills and estate planning.
Cole assists individuals and business owners with corporate transactions, incorporations, commercial agreements, and property matters ranging from residential purchases to commercial leases. Cole also actively maintains an energy leasing practice, representing rural landowners in Ontario who are contemplating entering into long term agreements with energy companies for wind, solar, and other projects.
Called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, Cole earned his Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. As part of the school’s integrated practice curriculum, he completed his articling at a boutique firm in Ottawa and later worked in-house with the legal team of Ontario’s largest energy producer, also performing a secondment with a national firm in downtown Toronto.
Cole brings a clear, detail-oriented approach to the practice of law. Whether he is assisting a client with the purchase or sale of a business, reviewing an option and lease agreement from a wind turbine company, or representing a first-time homebuyer, he focuses on making legal processes easy to understand and efficient to execute. The importance of said efficiency, attention to detail, and timely delivery of work product is paramount for all his clients, both large and small.
A resident of Creemore, Ontario, Cole now works with clients throughout Barrie, Simcoe County, Toronto, and Northern Ontario. In his spare time, Cole enjoys both alpine skiing and snowboarding, mountain biking, boating, camping, and many other forms of outdoor activities.
