Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
Dooley Lucenti LLP is committed to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). We are dedicated to offering our goods and services in a manner that upholds the principles of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity for all clients, with or without disabilities.
Definition of Disability

Any degree of physical disability, infirmity, malformation, or disfigurement caused by bodily injury, birth defect, or illness, including but not limited to diabetes mellitus, epilepsy, brain injury, paralysis, amputation, lack of physical coordination, blindness or visual impairment, deafness or hearing impairment, muteness or speech impediment, or reliance on a guide dog, wheelchair, or other assistive devices.
A condition of mental impairment or developmental disability.
A learning disability or dysfunction in understanding or using symbols or spoken language.
A mental disorder.
An injury or disability for which benefits were claimed or received under the insurance plan established under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997.
Assistive Devices
Clients with disabilities are welcome to use their own assistive devices when accessing our services. If assistance is required, please inform our Receptionist upon arrival.
Service Animals
We accommodate individuals with disabilities who are accompanied by service animals. If a service animal is legally excluded from the premises, we will provide alternative measures to ensure access to our services.
Support Persons
Clients with disabilities may be accompanied by a support person when accessing our services. Consent may be required when confidential information is involved.
Notice of Temporary Disruptions
In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities used by clients with disabilities, Dooley Lucenti LLP will provide timely notice, including information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated duration, and alternative facilities or services available.
